Position Overview

EOSOL Group is seeking an HSE Officer to support utility-scale wind projects across Canada.

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards during wind farm operations and maintenance activities, maintaining safe working conditions and supporting field safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and enforce HSE compliance during field activities.
  • Participate in daily safety meetings and operational planning.
  • Support and verify work permits, LOTO, JSEA, and critical safety procedures.
  • Ensure proper PPE usage and electrical safety compliance.
  • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses.
  • Prepare daily HSE reports and safety documentation.
  • Support site audits and HSE inspections.
  • Verify worker certifications and mandatory training compliance.
  • Participate in emergency response and rescue readiness activities.
  • Maintain proper field documentation with time-stamped reports and photos.

Requirements:
Qualifications

Education

  • Degree or technical diploma in HSE, Industrial Safety, Engineering, or related field.
Experience

  • Previous experience as an HSE Officer / HSE Supervisor in wind, industrial, or energy projects.
  • Utility-scale wind project experience is highly preferred.
Required Certifications

  • OSHA 10/30 or equivalent
  • First Aid / CPR
  • Working at Heights / Rescue Training (preferred)
  • CSA Z462 Electrical Safety (preferred)
Technical Knowledge

  • LOTO procedures
  • JSEA
  • Confined Space
  • Electrical Safety compliance
  • HSE procedures in energy projects
Languages

  • Intermediate to Advanced English (mandatory).
