Join the City of Regina as a Sustainability & Adaptation Consultant, focusing on energy management system development and implementation. This role requires strong leadership in environmental initiatives.
The consultant will oversee the management of an Energy Management System to align with ISO 50001, ensuring the effectiveness of energy consumption tracking and performance improvement. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will lead projects aimed at enhancing sustainability within municipal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct implementation of the Energy Management System
• Lead staff engagement for energy system initiatives
• Create and manage reports on energy performance
• Conduct energy audits and establish baselines
• Recommend improvements for energy efficiency
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar
• Five years in energy management or sustainability roles
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with ISO standards and energy data monitoring
• Experience in municipal government is a plus
