Elevate your career as a Designer for energy controls across substations and hydroelectric power plants. This role focuses on designing and implementing protection systems while ensuring compliance and quality.
You will take an active role in all aspects of design engineering, specializing in control systems for high-voltage infrastructures. Your responsibilities include leading projects, coordinating client interfaces, and drafting vital documentation for installations. Collaboration with diverse teams will ensure that optimal performance and safety standards are met throughout project life cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design control and protection panels and diagrams
• Formulate installation standards and cable lists
• Perform site surveys and quality checks
• Liaise with discipline leads for project coordination
• Support automation start-up initiatives
Requirements:
• Relevant university degree in electrical engineering
• Short- and long-term availability for onsite projects
• Advanced skills in both English and French
• Experience in related protection/control projects preferred
• Knowledge of design software like E3 is a plus
