Sask Energy seeks a skilled Senior Engineer for Facilities Engineering to oversee innovative project management and design optimization for gas transmission facilities. This is a permanent full-time position.
In this role, you will leverage your extensive engineering experience to ensure the successful execution of complex, multi-year projects. Manage all phases of project development, ensuring alignment with safety, design, and corporate standards. Your expertise will support strategic planning and facilitate the resolution of engineering challenges through effective analysis and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee project management to meet safety and budgetary goals
• Provide engineering assessments and optimization for facility projects
• Prepare and validate engineering designs and specifications
• Participate in strategic planning for compression and storage systems
• Engage in technical committee representations as needed
Requirements:
• Engineering Degree (preferably Mechanical or Chemical)
• Registered Professional Engineer in Saskatchewan
• Eight years of progressive engineering experience
• Familiarity with natural gas industry practices
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
