Elevate your engineering career with CIMA+ as a Senior Overhead Transmission Lines Civil Engineer. Utilize your 15+ years of expertise in design and project leadership within a hybrid work model. In this senior role, you will oversee a project design team, ensuring safety and quality in high-complexity projects across Canada. You’ll design overhead transmission lines ranging from 60kV to 735kV and prepare essential project documentation.
Your leadership and analytical skills will be central in fostering innovation and delivering quality engineering services. Drive high-quality engineering solutions at CIMA+ by leveraging your extensive experience in civil engineering.
- Lead a project design team including junior staff
- Design overhead lines and facilities for an electric utility
- Prepare reports, specifications, and estimates per CIMA+ practices
- Manage design tasks regarding scope, schedule, and cost
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 15 years of experience
- Registered with a Canadian engineering association
- Proficient in PLS-CADD and CAD systems
- Field work experience required
