Position: MBD Engineer Role at Litens
Join Litens as an MBD Engineer in Canada and play a pivotal role in advancing Model-Based Enterprise initiatives. Focus on developing innovative solutions for product design workflows.

In this role within the Product Engineering Department, you will drive the transformation towards a Model-Based Enterprise (MBE). Your efforts will emphasize creating MBD standards and improving product development processes. Responsibilities include not only developing technical solutions but also supporting teams through training and helpdesk guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accelerate product development through MBD solutions

• Develop and promote MBD standards across teams

• Maintain MBD and PDM macros and assist users

• Deliver training and provide global helpdesk support

• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies and AI tools

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Solid Works

• Coding skills with Solid Works API (VBA and  or C#)

• Experience in mechanical design and GD&T

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
