Engineering Assistant

Be a vital part of Regina's Traffic Engineering team as an Engineering Assistant. This casual full-time role offers the opportunity to apply your civil engineering knowledge in a real-world setting.

As a full-time temporary assistant, starting mid-July 2026, you will report directly to a Project Engineer, contributing to roadway infrastructure management. Your responsibilities will include gathering and assessing data, ensuring accurate documentation, and using spreadsheets for calculations. This role will enhance your engineering skills while promoting collaboration within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and assess roadway condition accurately

• Collect roadway inventory data efficiently

• Collaborate with colleagues for project success

• Review data for proper completion and accuracy

• Utilize spreadsheets for calculations and reporting

Requirements:

• One-year certificate in Civil Engineering technology

• Related experience in a municipal engineering environment

• Solid understanding of roadway infrastructure principles

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license for work travel

• Willingness to work outdoors in diverse conditions
