Location: Moose Jaw
Join Canadian Base Operators as an Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter in Moose Jaw. This role is essential in handling aircraft emergencies and ensuring safety compliance and readiness.
The Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter (ARFF) role includes various responsibilities focused on aircraft incident support. Working on a 2-Platoon system, firefighters engage in emergencies while maintaining critical firefighting equipment. This position offers valuable training and serves as a critical component in the safety protocols for the Royal Canadian Air Force.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to emergencies involving aircraft incidents
• Maintain and inspect firefighting tools and equipment
• Verify operational status of fire vehicles
• Participate in daily training and safety programs
• Conduct thorough inspections of fire alarm systems
Requirements:
• Level II Firefighter certification needed
• Airport Fire Fighter certification required
• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR C certification
• Minimum Class 5A driver’s license needed
• Physical abilities test must be passed
