Water & Wastewater Analyst

Make a difference with the Water Security Agency Moose Jaw as a Water & Wastewater Analyst in Regina. This full-time, temporary position supports regulatory services for water and wastewater programs.

In this role, you will help manage applications and maintain status records for water-related projects. Your expertise in aquatic habitats and regulatory protocols is essential for assessing development impacts and implementing mitigation measures. A diploma in Water Resources Engineering or a related field is required, and equivalent experience may be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for water and wastewater regulatory services

• Maintain records of application statuses throughout the review process

• Assess project impacts on aquatic habitats

• Implement mitigation measures for water use and quality

• Ensure compliance with aquatic habitat protection protocols

Requirements:

• Diploma in Water Resources Engineering Technology or similar

• Applied knowledge of Saskatchewan aquatic species and habitats

• Experience in assessing environmental impacts

• Familiarity with relevant legislation and processes

• Satisfactory criminal record check required
