Application Information
Employer Name:  Water Security Agency Moose Jaw

Water Security Agency (WSA) is seeking a technically strong and collaborative professional to join our team as an Engineer I, Hydrogeologist.

In this role, you will apply strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills to support the sustainable management of Saskatchewans groundwater resources.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to conduct geological and hydrogeological studies and prepare reports, analyze complex data, and translate findings into clear cause-and-effect relationships that inform decision-making. Using sound judgment and technical expertise, the employee will interpret aquifer tests and maps, develop and apply groundwater numerical models, manage and interpret geological and hydrogeological datasets, and deliver accurate, timely information to clients, stakeholders, and the public.

This role requires collaboration and communication skills to support the planning, operation, and modernization of the provincial groundwater monitoring network, assist with field supervision of water well drilling, and contribute to analysis and delivery of high-quality monitoring and geophysical data. The position will also provide technical reviews and assessments of groundwater resources to programs and make clear recommendations on hydrogeological implications.

If youre driven by technical excellence, continuous learning, and meaningful environmental impact, this is your opportunity to make a difference.

The successful candidate will have a Degree in an Engineering or Geoscience discipline, a license to practice professional engineering or geoscience from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) and 4 years of related geological and hydrogeological experience.

We offer rewarding career opportunities, competitive salaries, and a comprehensive benefits package.
