KGS Group is seeking a Structural Engineer in Training to enhance our Structural team. In this role, you will perform detailed structural engineering calculations, and design work on steel and concrete structures while receiving mentorship from Senior Structural Engineers. The position also emphasizes communication and hands-on learning, while being part of diverse projects across North America.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports

• Create hand-sketch drawings and collaborate with drafters

• Conduct organized calculations for structural adequacy

• Travel to worksites for observations and documentation

• Improve technical skills through self-study and education

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required

• Registration as Engineer-in-Training with APEGS

• Coursework in structural design and mechanics

• Familiarity with structural modeling and analysis software

• Willingness to travel as needed
