Join Sask Energy as a SCADA Systems Engineer, where you'll drive technical excellence in pipeline management. This full-time role focuses on enhancing software and security compliance in operations.
In this position, you will oversee critical projects involving engineering design and implementation of SCADA systems.
Your role includes managing budgets, procurement, and providing on-call support. You will work on developing and presenting training programs to ensure operational efficiency and address complex system issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engineering design and project management initiatives
• Prepare cost estimates and oversee procurement processes
• Address technical challenges in SCADA systems
• Create and present technical training for staff
• Optimize systems and identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Software Engineering
• Professional Engineer Designation in Saskatchewan required
• Five years of progressive experience in SCADA systems
• Commitment to professional development
• Ability to travel and possess a Class 5 Driver’s License
