Description
The Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) is hiring a  Mechanical Engineer  on a permanent basis on our Technical Services team. This position requires on-site work and is based in  Regina, SK.

What you’ll do:

Contribute to projects by designing, developing, and delivering mechanical systems, equipment, and technologies that meet operational and regulatory requirements.

Prepare technical documentation including detailed reports, diagrams, and specifications to support project approvals and compliance with industry standards.

Provide technical expertise and guidance, making decisions on short-term assignments and ensure project objectives and timelines are met.

Collaborate with internal teams and other engineering disciplines to maintain schedules, budgets, safety, and quality standards.

Develop repair, replacement and alteration packages for piping, pressure vessels and other mechanical equipment.

Participate in risk-management reviews and support the management of change (MOC) process for mechanical alterations of equipment.

Who you’ll work with:
The Team:
You will work closely with our Lead Engineer, Mechanical and engineers within the multi-disciplinary Technical Services team. You will partner with other areas of the refinery to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope.

Who you are:
Have 4+ years of combined experience, ideally within an industrial setting.

Experience with large mechanical projects is strongly preferred.

Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)

Are a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng). An Engineer-in-Training may also be considered.

Have knowledge of pressure equipment design Codes and Standards (API, ASME)

Have a proven ability to assess complex mechanical challenges and develop safe, efficient, and practical solutions.

Have experience working effectively with multi-disciplinary teams, managing timelines, and ensuring alignment across stakeholder
