West Jet is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to support maintenance operations on a variety of aircraft, including the Boeing 737 and 787. This role demands a commitment to safety, effective problem-solving, and teamwork. Applicants must possess a valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License and experience with Boeing aircraft or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough maintenance on Boeing 737 MAX and Q400
• Diagnose and repair aircraft technical problems efficiently
• Uphold strict safety and operational standards
• Document all maintenance activities accurately
• Work in a rotational shift pattern, including nights
Requirements:
• Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License (M2 preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience with required aircraft types
• Strong technical skills in airframe and powerplant
• Physical ability for lifting and diverse working environments
• Successful completion of required pre-employment criteria
