Financial Reporting Accountant - Regina, SK

AGT Foods is seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to join our Regina Head Office team.

This role is ideal for a recent graduate or a current student graduating in April
, and we are happy to offer a flexible start date to accommodate academic schedules.

The Financial Reporting Accountant (FRA) will be a key part of the monthly and quarterly financial reporting process.

• Responsible for the information flow in and out of the consolidation software (
  Onestream
  )
• Contribute to monthly and quarterly consolidation and financial reporting processes
• Prepare journal entries
• Prepare account reconciliations
• Assist with preparation of quarterly financial statements including note preparation/ review, financial statement tie outs and rolls, etc
• Assist the financial reporting team with various monthly and quarterly tasks including variance analysis templates, subsidiary consolidation schedule tie outs, etc.
• Assist with internal control testing
• Provide backup coverage to various accounting team members creating excellent learning opportunities and breadth
• Other accounting and finance duties as necessary

• University graduate, intending to enroll in CPA program
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel & Outlook
• Attention to planning, process, and detail
• Quick learner
• Desire for continued improvement and understanding
• Able to communicate effectively with different internal groups around the world
