Wealth Sales Assistant – GP Financial Services
This position is responsible for working closely with the Senior Wealth Advisor, to create sales opportunities and support new and existing relationships. They will assist in growing and managing the Advisory Practice by providing effective client service and contributing to business development activities. This position provides administrative and office support services to the Senior Advisor.
Key Responsibilities
Provide proactive client service with a problem-resolution focus and attention to detailsLiaise with various departments for execution, where necessary.Respond to client account inquiries and remain accountable to follow-up, as required.Help build and execute business plans, client segmentation, and client service plans.Use in-depth knowledge of products and services to identify new opportunities within the existing client baseCoordinate/Participate in client meetings and events with the Investment Advisor and clients/prospects: help determine agenda and key topics, prepare documentation, execute post-meeting work.Maintaining a good understanding of client profiles and corresponding investment strategiesPrepare, analyze, and present reports and recommendationsAssist the advisor in developing investment and financial plansProactively recommend team and business process improvementsAdhering to regulatory policies by staying up to date with all industry rulings and policiesEnsuring all client interactions are accurately documentedSupport Advisor with both conventional and digital marketing programs, including the development, approval, and implementationSupporting practices to ensure administrative processes are streamlinedFacilitating a culture of open and honest communicationActively participating and contributing to team meetingsEncouraging the generation of new ideas and approachesSharing knowledge and experience to enhance the development of all team membersIdentify and execute opportunities among existing client base for asset consolidation, referrals, etc.Co-manage client acquisition pipeline (prospects / leads); work with advisory team to close new opportunities.Other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Attributes

Relevant industry experience preferred
Other preferred education
Post-secondary education in business, accounting, or financeCanadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH)Life Licensed or willing to be Life LicensedThe successful candidate will benefit from the following:
