Corporate Controller SK

AGT Foods  is seeking a  Corporate Controller  to join our Regina Head Office team.

The Corporate Controller will be a key part of the monthly and quarterly consolidated financial reporting process. This role will be responsible for the information flow in and out of the consolidation software (One Stream). This will include preparing and/or reviewing journal entries in One Stream and ensuring timely reporting to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Administrator of financial reporting software (One Stream)

Liaise with system developers on enhancements

Ensure timely and accurate information is provided to stakeholders

Prepare / review journal entries at consolidation

Communicate with global users necessary changes to reporting structures

Assist with preparation of quarterly financial statements including note preparation/ review, financial statement tie outs and rolls, etc.

Maintain strong system of internal controls

Support a collaborative working environment through coaching, supporting and assisting other members of the financial reporting team

Other accounting and finance duties as necessary

Skills & Abilities

CPA designation

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel & Outlook

Attention to planning, process, and detail

Quick learner

Desire for continued improvement and understanding

Able to communicate effectively with different internal groups around the world

Experience with One Stream or other consolidation software considered an asset
