Delighted to be working with a leading real estate group as they look to add a Senior Corporate Accountant to their team. The role itself will contribute to a high performing finance team and you'll be responsible for full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and analysis across their portfolio of residential and mix-use projects.

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including journal entry review, reconciliations, variance analysis, and oversight of year-end financial statements and tax returns.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting under ASPE and company policies, while maintaining key schedules such as capital assets, prepaid, loan, and other financial records.
• Oversee preparation and updates of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial models for revenue, expenses, and cash flow across corporate entities.
• Prepare and deliver weekly cash management reports and monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and budget-to-actual packages.
• Collaborate with project accountants and internal teams to align operational and financial data, support auditors and lenders, and assist with day-to-day accounting interpretations.
• Enhance reporting efficiency by integrating FP&A tools with accounting systems and developing streamlined templates and processes for recurring forecasting and reporting tasks.

• 4–6 years of accounting experience, ideally in public practice, real estate development, construction, or property management.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and proven capability to manage multiple priorities.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, along with experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Yardi and Sage 300 CRE is considered an asset.
