This Bilingual Consumer Collections Specialist reviews delinquent, high risk, and written-off accounts for collection opportunities. The work combines customer advising, transaction processing, and loss mitigation. You will analyze account information, manage escalated requests, and support collections teams through coaching, reporting, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Review accounts and assess probability of collection
Advise customers on payment and collections strategies
Execute loss mitigation processes for high risk accounts
Handle incoming calls and complex customer requests
Prepare reports, dashboards, and recommendations
Requirements:
Three to five years of relevant experience
Post-secondary degree or equivalent education and experience
Knowledge of Consumer Collections laws and regulations
Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills
Knowledge of BMO products and services
Bring bilingual customer service, negotiation, and collections knowledge to help BMO resolve accounts and protect customer relationships.
