As the Director of Government Relations, you will implement vital strategies that support FCC’s engagements with key stakeholders, including federal and provincial entities. Your expertise will help guide senior executives in understanding public policy and legislative changes. With a focus on the agriculture and agri-food sectors, you will provide essential advice while ensuring sustainable partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute government relations strategies for FCC
• Build relationships with federal, provincial, and Indigenous stakeholders
• Advise executives on political and public policy matters
• Anticipate legislative changes impacting FCC operations
• Represent FCC in stakeholder forums and consultations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• 10+ years in government relations or public policy
• Extensive knowledge of legislative processes
• Proven ability to lead multi-jurisdictional strategies
• Strong skills in strategic advice and relationship-building
