As an experienced Government Relations Lead, you'll guide FCC’s strategy to foster connections with key stakeholders, including governmental and industry representatives. The role demands expertise in public policy, stakeholder engagement, and complex strategy development to assist senior executives in navigating legislative landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead development and execution of government relations strategies
• Build relationships with federal, provincial, and Indigenous stakeholders
• Advise executives on public policy and parliamentary matters
• Anticipate legislative and regulatory changes affecting FCC
• Provide strategic leadership within the Government Relations team
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in public administration, political science, or similar
• 10+ years in government relations or public policy roles
• Deep knowledge of parliamentary processes and stakeholder environments
• Proven ability to foster collaborations with government officials
• Experience advising on complex public policy challenges
