Bylaw Enforcement Officer

Position: Bylaw Enforcement Officer I
Ensure community standards enforcement with the City of Regina as a Bylaw Enforcement Officer I. This term position emphasizes inspections, compliance investigations, and stakeholder interactions.

As a Bylaw Enforcement Officer I, you will investigate complaints and enforce municipal bylaws across both private and public properties. Key responsibilities include gathering evidence, preparing reports, and providing technical advice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate complaints regarding bylaw violations

• Conduct inspections and gather evidence for cases

• Document investigations with reports and photographs

• Liaise with other enforcement officers as needed

• Maintain accurate filing systems and data management

Requirements:

• Secondary school completion or equivalent

• Class 5 driver's license required

• Over 18 months of enforcement experience

• Knowledge of bylaws and enforcement regulations

• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
