Position Summary...

The Relief Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations.

What you'll do...
  • Ensure excellent patient experience, locate merchandise on the sales floor.
  • Establish and develop strong working relationships with Professional Services District Managers and other stakeholders.
  • Accept prescriptions and/or refill requests from Customers, Doctors, or Hospitals.
  • Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely using established workflow models and counsel all patients on pharmaceutical products.
  • Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
  • Execute processes as per OBWs/SOPs.
  • Operate all pharmacy equipment (register, computer systems, etc.).
  • Protect and maintain patient privacy at all times, following provincial regulations established by the regulatory body.
  • Ensure patients receive all eligible services (medication reviews, injections, etc.) to meet their needs.
  • Follow OBW regulations as per the Relief Pharmacist program.
  • Travel to various locations and follow schedules set by the Relief program coordinator.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with healthcare providers within the store (clinics, Vision Centre, community, etc.).
