We are hiring for a 50% term position at Athabasca Home in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Ideal candidates possess a compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing environments. Responsibilities include personal care, creating engaging experiences, and utilizing sound judgement in conflict resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
• Apply safety practices and established protocols
• Work independently and collaboratively to meet program goals
• Recognize and manage conflict situations proactively
• Assist individuals with personal care and daily life skills
Requirements:
• Experience with intellectual disabilities or Special Care Aide Program
• Empathy and understanding of diverse lifestyles
• Flexible and patient approach to client care
• Legally eligible to operate a vehicle supplied by the Ministry
• Available for shift work, 24/7
