We are looking for Accessibility Testers to support one of our clients across the country. Those applicants located near a PLATO offices or client offices will be expected to work some onsite hours.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering an accessibility assessment report with WCAG 2.1 AA pass/fail results, and documented defects with severity ratings, impacted users, and remediation guidance.
Qualifications
Strong hands‑on experience with WCAG 2.1 Level AA testing.
Experience in testing ERP/CRM/Retail/Enterprise-level applications
Expertise using screen readers and other assistive technologies
Experience with automated accessibility testing tools
Ability to interpret WCAG success criteria and map findings accurately
Experience testing enterprise or ERP applications with complex workflows
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
IAAP Certification (CPACC, WAS, or CPWA)
Experience working with development frameworks commonly used in ERP systems
Knowledge of ADA, Section 508, EN 301 549, or other accessibility regulations
Responsibilities
Conduct manual accessibility testing using screen readers and keyboard navigation
Run automated accessibility scans using industry tools
Assess UI components, workflows, usability, and navigability for users with disabilities
Identify accessibility defects and assess impact on different user groups
Work with Development and Designers to explain defect reports and participate in accessibility improvements
