Position: Senior Active Directory / GCP Infrastructure Specialist to support Aviation client in a complex, security-sensitive

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Active Directory / GCP Infrastructure Specialist to support our aviation client in a complex, security-sensitive enterprise environment.

The successful candidate will bring deep hands-on expertise in Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) combined with strong experience deploying and operating Windows Server domain controllers within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This role will support secure and highly available directory services, hybrid infrastructure integration, authentication, privileged access, monitoring, and infrastructure automation. Experience with directory migrations or authentication cutovers within large enterprise environments is highly desirable.

Duration: Until December 31, with a possibility of extension

Hours: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support enterprise Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) environments.
  • Manage AD forest and domain architecture, including FSMO roles, DNS, Kerberos authentication, and Group Policy
    .
  • Deploy, configure, and operate Windows Server domain controllers on Google Cloud Platform (GCE).
  • Design and support multi-zone high availability for Windows and Active Directory services within GCP.
  • Support directory migrations, authentication cutovers, and related infrastructure transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain repeatable and auditable infrastructure builds using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Integrate Active Directory and Windows security event logging with enterprise SIEM platforms such as Splunk
    .
  • Configure and support GCP audit logging and security monitoring.
  • Support privileged administrative access using solutions such as Cyber Ark PSM and bastion-brokered access models.
  • Integrate Active Directory with enterprise DNS solutions such as Infoblox across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Troubleshoot complex authentication, DNS, Kerberos, Group Policy, Windows Server, and Active Directory issues.
  • Ensure directory and cloud infrastructure meet enterprise security, audit, availability, and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, security, application, and architecture teams throughout implementation and cutover activities.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure configuration standards.
  • Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on expertise administering Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) in complex enterprise environments.
  • Deep knowledge of AD forest/domain design, FSMO roles, DNS, Kerberos (KRB5), and Group Policy
    .
  • Hands-on experience deploying and operating Windows Server domain controllers on Google Cloud Platform (GCE).
  • Experience designing and supporting multi-zone high-availability environments within GCP
    .
  • Working knowledge of Terraform and Ansible for Infrastructure-as-Code and automated environment builds.
  • Experience with privileged access management solutions such as Cyber Ark PSM and bastion-based administrative access.
  • Experience integrating Active Directory/Windows security event logging with SIEM platforms
    , preferably Splunk.
  • Experience configuring and supporting GCP audit logging
    .
  • Understanding of enterprise DNS integration, preferably Infoblox
    , across hybrid environments.
  • Previous experience with directory migrations and/or authentication cutovers
    .
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a large, complex, security-sensitive enterprise environment.
  • Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Bilingual English/French communication skills.
  • Experience supporting ENOVIA, CATIA, PLM environments
