In this intermediate technical role, you'll contribute to the delivery of new business solutions and the maintenance of existing ones within a dynamic geospatial environment. A solid understanding of GIS concepts, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication are essential for success in this position. You'll work closely with the Coordinator of Geospatial Technical Services and be expected to demonstrate leadership qualities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop business solutions meeting specific requirements
• Analyze and prepare documentation for medium-sized projects
• Maintain and enhance existing geospatial solutions
• Create timelines and budgets for assigned projects
• Mentor and coach other staff team members
Requirements:
• University degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• 2-3 years of progressive experience in GIS and database administration
• Knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server
• Strong skills in problem-solving and system design
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
