Position: Claims Consultant for Property Large Loss
Become a key player as a Claims Consultant at Intact's Property Large Loss team, handling complex claims in a hybrid work environment. Use your expertise to negotiate and resolve multi-million dollar claims.

In this role, you will directly manage large and complex commercial property claims with exposures over $1M both nationally and internationally. Your critical thinking and strong communication skills will be essential to collaborate with counsel, adjusters, and engineers, ensuring effective claims handling and providing mentorship to regional file handlers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and manage complex claims over $1M

• Negotiate claim resolutions effectively and efficiently

• Mentor and guide regional claims handlers

• Collaborate with underwriting to identify risks and trends

• Attend settlement conferences and loss locations

Requirements:

• 10+ years in handling commercial property claims

• Strong negotiation and communication skills

• Undergraduate Degree or CIP designation preferred

• Flexible for travel as necessary

• Bilingualism in French and English for Quebec candidates
