Position: Bengali Interpreter for Family Support
Join Rooted Connections Incorporated as a Bengali Interpreter supporting families in Regina. This flexible contract role involves essential interpretation services during meetings and communications for newcomers.

Rooted Connections is actively seeking empathetic and skilled interpreters to enhance our Newcomer Intensive Family Support Program. As a Bengali Interpreter, you'll need to effectively convey communication between Rooted Connections staff, service providers, and clients.

Your role includes sight translation and cross-cultural brokering to ensure clear and accurate interpretation in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret between clients and staff with clarity

• Conduct meetings and conference calls as needed

• Provide cross-cultural brokering support

• Collaborate with staff for appointment preparation

• Uphold the Association's Code of Ethics

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Bengali and English

• Experience in verbal communication and interpretation

• Understanding of cultural nuances and effective brokering

• Professional demeanor and ethical conduct

• Flexibility to meet program needs in Regina
