The Water Security Agency is seeking a Procurement Manager to drive organizational purchasing activities. In this leadership position, you will collaborate with management, suppliers, and other stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into actionable outcomes. Your expertise will guide the development of procurement policies aligned with regulations and ensure transparency and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all procurement activities for the organization
• Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies
• Manage supplier evaluation, performance, and relationships
• Drive continuous improvement via vendor debriefings and staff development
• Collaborate with Sask Builds on government-wide procurement projects
Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing
• Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain Management or related field
• Working towards SCMP or CPSM certification
• Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
• Satisfactory criminal record check required
