Export & Health Logistics Coordinator
Location: Bovi Gen Genetic Services

Position Overview
Bovi Gen Genetic Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Export & Health Logistics Coordinator to support our growing global operations. This role is responsible for coordinating international shipments of genetic material, managing health testing requirements, and ensuring compliance with export regulations.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with clients and partners, and takes ownership of complex logistics to ensure seamless delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate international shipments of semen and embryos, including all export documentation and logistics
- Manage health testing requirements for donor animals to meet export protocols for various countries
- Prepare and review export certificates, permits, and regulatory documentation
- Liaise with CFIA, veterinarians, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with health and export requirements
- Coordinate scheduling of health testing, collections, and shipment timelines
- Track and manage inventory movement related to export orders
- Communicate proactively with clients, distributors, and internal teams regarding shipment status and requirements
- Troubleshoot logistics challenges and resolve issues efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of export documentation, health tests, and shipment history
- Assist in developing and improving internal export and logistics processes
Qualifications & Skills
- Post-secondary education in agriculture, animal science, business, or a related field preferred
- Experience in livestock, agriculture, or genetics industry considered an asset
- Strong understanding of logistics, documentation, and regulatory compliance
- Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Experience with export documentation or health protocols is an asset
