Manage Christie Lites transportation operations using freight planning and carrier coordination to deliver equipment reliably between warehouses and live events.
The Transport Manager oversees domestic, cross-border, and international freight supporting Christie Lites equipment movements. This role coordinates carriers, customs brokers, warehouses, Transport Coordinators, and internal stakeholders to meet shipment requirements and event deadlines. Responsibilities include freight planning, shipment tracking, rate negotiation, compliance documentation, and team support.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan freight movements around shipment requirements and event deadlines
- Select carriers, secure capacity, and coordinate pickup schedules
- Track shipments and communicate delays, risks, and recovery plans
- Maintain customs records, HS codes, and re-export deadlines
- Analyze carrier performance, freight costs, claims, and billing issues
- Transportation and logistics experience with freight planning
- Experience coordinating carriers and negotiating freight rates
- Cross-border and international freight experience
- Management experience overseeing transportation or logistics operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel
