More Details Based in Glaslyn, Saskatchewan, North Wind Forest Products is a manufacturing facility that has been producing specialty wood products for over 50 years. It is proudly owned by the Meadow Lake Tribal Council.

We are seeking an energetic and qualified applicant to join our maintenance team. If you have experience in heavy duty industrial environments, we want to talk to you! We offer a positive work environment including a team-based focus and long term job stability.

Your primary responsibility is that of a maintenance Millwright – troubleshooting and repairing equipment breakdowns and equipment that is operating out of specifications in a timely manner during the production shifts. You will perform preventative maintenance tours and make recommendations for repairs and replacements as observed. There will also be significant project work and equipment installations required. There are regular opportunities for overtime for those who are interested.

At North Wind, we have a group of indentured millwrights in various stages of their apprenticeships and our journeyperson millwrights play a significant role in the training of these individuals for the future success of our company.

Qualifications:

– A valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson ticket as a millwright  – Preferably five years of industrial experience as a journeyperson  – Strong team player with excellent communication skills  – Excellent safety record
