Community Maintenance Operations Worker

Drive community maintenance efforts as a dedicated Operations Worker. Engage in street upkeep, equipment operations, and general repairs in a full-time capacity.

This position plays a vital role in the daily operations of the Public Works Department. You'll handle various tasks including street maintenance, operating municipal equipment, and executing seasonal duties. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of relevant experience, alongside the ability to work well with others and individually.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with street and sidewalk upkeep

• Operate municipal equipment like mowers and loaders

• Manage water and sewer operations

• Engage in seasonal activities including snow removal

• Carry out general repairs within the community

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License required

• Mechanical skills with heavy equipment are preferred

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions

• Previous experience in a public works environment is beneficial

• Willingness to pursue additional training opportunities
