Join Zagim Anishinabk as a Custodian for Goose Lake School, ensuring a clean and secure environment through diligent maintenance and support. Operate equipment and manage cleaning protocols.

The Custodian role at Goose Lake School involves detailed maintenance and cleanliness under Health Canada guidelines. Reporting to the Health Services Manager, you will be responsible for performing daily, weekly, and seasonal cleaning tasks and monitoring the safety and functionality of all systems. You will also coordinate maintenance with contractors to ensure continuous operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute cleaning tasks following established guidelines

• Handle and maintain necessary cleaning equipment

• Monitor and manage inventory of supplies

• Ensure all access areas are clear of hazards

• Check the functionality of security systems routinely

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience

• Skills in mechanical and electrical systems upkeep

• Experience with janitorial machinery preferred

• Capability to perform intensive cleaning work

• WHIMIS knowledge is advantageous
