Facility Maintenance Worker at MACSI

Take on a pivotal role as a Casual Maintenance Worker with the Metis Addictions Council of Saskatchewan Inc. in Regina. This position requires a focus on preventative maintenance and minor repairs of various facilities and mechanical systems.

As part of the team, you will handle a variety of maintenance tasks from building repairs to vehicle upkeep. Reporting to the Regional Manager, your role includes inspecting utility systems and performing routine cleaning duties. Your mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities will greatly enhance facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on buildings and vehicles

• Clean and inspect boiler systems for proper functioning

• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists

• Assist in repairs, renovations, and painting tasks

• Ensure proper storage and ordering of maintenance supplies

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 10 level education required

• 7-11 months applicable work experience

• Proficiency in operating and monitoring equipment

• Strong mechanical and safety-oriented skills

• Must be double vaccinated against Covid-19
