Position: Regina Facilities Operator I Role
Join the City of Regina as a Facilities Operator I, contributing to the maintenance and operations of community facilities like pools and arenas. This casual position emphasizes hands-on maintenance and customer support.

In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep of building systems, including HVAC, while delivering exceptional service to facility users. Candidates should hold necessary certifications and have a background in facility operations. This role requires independence and reporting to the Facilities Operations Foreman.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and service HVAC and mechanical systems

• Adjust pool water treatment chemicals as required

• Manage maintenance schedules to ensure facility cleanliness

• Operate forklifts and various outdoor maintenance equipment

• Secure facilities by enforcing access protocols

Requirements:

• Saskatchewan Refrigeration Plant Operators Certificate and Swimming Pool Operators Certificate

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role

• First Aid Certificate and WHIMIS Certification desired

• Ability to safely manage chemicals

• Strong judgment and maintenance skills
