Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production operations of the business location to ensure that cylinder gas needs of both internal and external customers are satisfied. Exempt, salaried positions require a consistent on‑site presence during the company’s core operating hours to support business operations and team needs. Due to the nature of exempt roles, work hours may extend beyond the standard schedule when necessary to meet organizational demands, leadership responsibilities, and business objectives.
This may include occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends, depending on the role and the needs of the business, manager will confirm shift expectations.

What you will be doing:
Actively contribute to Linde’s safety culture by ensuring plant operations are conducted in a safe and responsible manner, conducting incident investigations and safety meetingsRemain compliant with all external regulatory agencies (FDA, DOT, EPA, OSHA, DHS) & company policies and proceduresManage cylinder gas production based on customer requirements and schedule raw material delivery as neededSupport inter-company and route truck distribution of products to help ensure efficient, timely, accurate, and professional delivery to our customersMaintain stocking levels of finished product and raw materials to ensure production requirements and lead times are achievedMonitor asset usage and recommend cylinder purchases/increases to inventory as business demands changeSupport the security and appearance of the location and equipmentTimely and accurate completion of all required reports (product inventory, cylinder inventory, expense reports, financial reports, KPI reports, payroll, ACMS Work Orders, etc...)Assist in implementation of Standard Operating Procedures as required or as revisions/changes are madeDrive productivity and continuously find ways to improve work processes throughout the operation to maximize plant capabilities and operational efficiencyDevelop talent by coaching, mentoring, providing feedback, and creating growth opportunities to improve employee performance and drive organizational successMotivate team to meet metrics and achieve goals by delegating tasks that promote ownershipOther duties as assignedQualificationsWhat makes you great:
High School Diploma/GED required;
Bachelor of Science strongly preferred1- 2 years of supervisory experience preferredProduction/distribution experience required; industrial gas experience or equivalent preferredKnowledge of regulatory agencies including, but not limited to, FDA, DOT, OSHA, and EPAExcellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, employees, and managementProficient computer skills, including Microsoft applicationsUpholds high standards of honesty and integrityDemonstrates personal ownership for safety and actively contributes to a strong safety cultureContributes to a positive work environment where differences are valued and supportedStrives for personal achievement and helps others attain resultsEnsures accountability through collaboration and interpersonal skillsWhy you will enjoy working with us:
