Responsibilities

Review production schedules, processes, specifications and related information.

Design manufacturing processes that maximize efficiency and minimize waste.

Develop and implement process improvements and technology upgrades.

Design control systems to minimize production costs and problems.

Develop design and manufacturing standards in conjunction with management and staff use. Make lists of supplies and equipment, purchase orders, analyze costs, and estimate production costs.

Design the facility layout and determine staffing requirements.

Train employees on new procedures and provide instructions and manuals.

Manage process documentation and prepare production reports.

Requirements

Requires an Industrial Engineering degree or related field.

Relevant work experience.

Thorough knowledge of production machinery, processes and standards.

Critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Strong communication and presentation skills. Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

Documentation and organizational skills.

Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
