Superior Farm Equipment Ltd. brings together the rich legacies & expertise of Rite Way Mfg. & Morris Equipment Ltd., two western Canadian companies dedicated to providing quality, performance-based equipment for farmers worldwide.

We are recruiting a Kitter position to join our team at our facility in Regina, SK. The shift is Monday Thursday,10 hour days.

Job Duties:

Support production by assembling kits of necessary components for assembly

Identify & notify supervisor of shortages

Sort & place material or items on racks,shelves or bins according to pre-determined criteria

Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method

Organize warehouse & work area for orderliness & cleanliness at all times

Use a forklift & other industrial equipment for unloading & moving products when needed

Maintain a safe workplace

Other duties as required

Requirements:

High School Diploma,GED or equivalent

Two years experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience driving forklifts & similar equipment(can be attained after hire)

Work independently in a busy environment

Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment

Effectively communicate both verbally & in writing

Work well under pressure

Strong attention to detail

Able to deal with people sensitively,tactfully,diplomatically & professionally at all times

Work Conditions:

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Constant light physical effort(bending,reaching,carrying light items, walking,standing)

Regular heavy physical effort(carrying,lifting or pushing heavy items)

Hazards associated with a manufacturing environment

Occasional peak periods requiring an accelerated work pace

Overtime
