Welder - Fabricator

W.F. Botkin is currently seeking a Welder & Fabricator for full time employment at our shop in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Duties:

Welding

Fabrication work

Some mechanical work when necessary (gearboxes, etc)

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day

Some weekend overtime work when required. Some travel may be required.

Required Skills:

Journeyman Certificate 1st or 2nd year

Ability to problem solve.

Ability to work independently and with others.

Ability to operate various pieces of heavy equipment, , hoists, and other handling machinery.

Utilization of various equipment as needed.

Adhere to workplace safety policies and regulations.

Other duties as required.

Required Experience:

Minimum 1st or 2nd year apprentice.

Experience in routine equipment maintenance.

Flexibility and strong interpersonal skills.

Effective verbal and written communication.

Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.

Valid drivers license.

Excellent time management skills.
