CRATEX is North America’s Premier crating, packaging and export services company. Incorporated in 1989, our mandate is to professionally package manufactured goods for shipment. Specializing in both small and large packages for international and domestic export.

• Assemble wood products such as pallets, crates, skids
• Pack items for shipping and distribution- PACKAGER ONLY
• Install hardware; inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards
• Read and interpret instructions to determine specifications and calculate requirements
• Be knowledgeable of and follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Provide assistance to other activities such as the receiving of materials or cleaning and maintenance of the facility and equipment
• Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods
• Operate pneumatic hammers, strapers and other tools as directed
• Operate machines or equipment such as compressors, generators, drill presses, table saws, chop saws and cranes as directed
• Inspect received goods
• Keep work areas neat and tidy

• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to commute to work
• Good communications skills
• A positive and safe attitude
• Be able to follow basic instructions and procedures
• A willingness to learn and be involved in the required training
• A natural respect for people, property and the environment
• Forklift and WMIS certified is an asset
• Ability to work night shifts
• Ability to work well with others as well as individually
