• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts andtables
• Inspect machinedparts and tooling in order to maintain quality control standards
• Inspects, tests, andadjusts new and reworked tools, dies, gauges, jigs, and fixtures, for conformance to specifications, for example,dimensions, tolerances, and hardness
• Work for machinery,equipment, motor vehicle, automotive parts, aircraft, and othermetal products manufacturing companies and for machineshops
• Verify dimensions ofmachined parts or tooling using micrometers, verniers,callipers, height gauges, optical comparators, co-ordinatemeasuring machines (CMM) or other specialized measuring instruments
• Applying knowledge oftool and die design, shop mathematics, and machining and testing procedures, using precision measuring instruments, testing equipment, and handtools
• Report deviationsfrom specifications and tolerances to supervisor and complete and maintain inspection reports
• Examines defective parts to determine cause of defect and recommends changes or modifications
• Work in woodmanufacturing and food processing plants, as well as inrefineries
• They fit and assemblemachined metal parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools and verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
• Writes reportregarding inspection and testing results

• 3 – 5 years provenworking experience in related field
• Must have a strong attention to detail
• Able to communicatecomplicated technical ideas with precision and clarity
• Need to have goodphysical mobility
• Able to lift heavy objects and handle production pressures calmly
• Able to work in aTeam
