Job Description:
Reporting to the Manager, Program Services Continuing Care Education this position provides supervision and direction to the Clinical Nurse Educators. This position combines elements of nursing education, leadership, and coordination to ensure that the educational programs and initiatives delivered by Clinical Nurse Educators are effective, aligned with organizational goals, and contribute to the professional development of nursing staff. The incumbent will facilitate effective program planning, assess program needs, support the team to develop programs and delivery, conduct continuous quality improvement analyses to recognize opportunity for improvement and manage the human resources in an efficient manner.

Experience
Experience in teaching adults, facilitation skills, and leading group activities
Requires experience in program/resource development related to needs assessment.
Program decision implementation and evaluation
Minimum 5 years recent exp. related to the Clinical Areas (LTC, acute care)
Minimum 3 years in the past five years in a supervisory/leadership position
Education
Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
Degree in Nursing with courses in supervision or degree in edu./adult learning
