Temporary Donor Centre Nurse

Join Canadian Blood Services as a part-time Donor Centre Nurse in Regina. Utilize your nursing expertise to support blood donation processes while ensuring donor safety and comfort.
As a Temporary part-time Nurse, you will be part of the Collections team at the SK-Regina-Albert St donor centre.

Your role involves conducting donor registrations, performing venipuncture, and maintaining accurate records to enhance donor experiences. You will also provide critical support during collection events, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and documentation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in blood collection and donor support

• Conduct confidential screenings and registrations

• Provide post-donation care and monitor donors

• Educate donors on blood donation processes

• Set up equipment for mobile donor clinics
Requirements:

• Registered Nurse license in the province

• Two years of nursing experience preferred

• Certification in First Aid and CPR is an asset

• Technical skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook

• Proficiency in more than one language is valued
