Advance your nursing career at Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw. We are looking for a passionate full-time Psychiatric Nurse to provide specialized mental health care.
As a Psychiatric Nurse, you'll offer comprehensive care to patients facing psychiatric and social challenges. Reporting to the Manager of Mental Health and Addictions, candidates should possess relevant nursing qualifications and significant experience in psychiatric assessments and interventions. This role requires both teamwork and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver specialized nursing care for diverse psychiatric issues
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate care activities
• Conduct detailed assessments and formulate care plans
• Lead unit communication and patient engagement
• Assume charge nurse duties as necessary
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing or acceptable nursing diploma
• Registered with CRNS or CRPNS
• Solid knowledge of mental health regulations
• Familiarity with psychotropic medications
• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
