This role offers flexibility with local and travel agency contracts in a supportive environment.
This position requires a Registered Nursing License and at least one year of experience as an RPN. Ideal candidates must demonstrate proficiency in critical thinking, multitasking, and utilizing hospital software applications. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments and trauma-informed care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform assessments and monitor patient mental health status
• Administer psychotropic medications and therapeutic interventions
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and hospital policies
Requirements:
• Registered Nursing License in good standing
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse
• Current CPR and ACLS certification
• Professional Liability Insurance
• Valid vulnerable sector check
