Patient Care Coordinator, Acute Care RN

Enhance patient care quality as a Coordinator with Vancouver Coastal Health at Sechelt Hospital. Focus on leading nursing teams to deliver exceptional patient-centered services.

In this role, you will coordinate acute and ambulatory patient care activities while supporting clinical staff within the General Surgery team. You will be key to fostering an environment of learning, development, and research, ensuring that patient needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee patient care activities in designated clinical areas

• Supervise and provide support to nursing staff

• Promote patient flow and inter-unit collaboration

• Assist with administrative tasks related to staffing

• Cultivate educational growth and research initiatives

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with BCCNM

• 3 years’ relevant nursing practice

• At least 1-year administrative experience

• Knowledge of evidence-based nursing

• BC Driver's License and personal vehicle may be needed
