In this vital role, the Palliative Care Coordinator provides clinical leadership and care coordination for oncology patients facing pain and symptom challenges. You will be responsible for consultation, education, and implementing best practices in palliative care based on current research. This full-time position requires a dedicated nursing professional with strong communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical leadership in pain management
• Educate staff and families on palliative care
• Implement best practice guidelines in oncology
• Develop therapeutic relationships with patients
• Coordinate comprehensive care strategies for patients
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
• Minimum five years of nursing experience
• Licensed with the CRNS in Saskatchewan
• BLS certification required
• Knowledge of oncology care practices
