Enhance pediatric care as a Part Time Registered Practical Nurse at Scarborough Health Network. Support families in a multidisciplinary setting while providing essential nursing care across all shifts.
Become an integral part of the Women and Children's Program at Scarborough Health Network. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and implementing patient-centered nursing care within a supportive, family-focused environment. Ideal candidates will have strong pediatric experience and a commitment to holistic patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care for pediatric patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal family-centered care
• Support patients and families in single-family rooms with amenities
• Maintain compliance with health standards and safety protocols
• Work across various shifts as required
Requirements:
• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum two years of pediatric nursing experience
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Commitment to obtain breastfeeding certificate within 3 months
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
